Morning Birdwatching Tour (Group)

Across Costa Rica, birders rise with the dawn – but an early morning birding experience at Tapir Valley, where you’ll have 220 acres to explore as a group and the freedom to roam with your expert guide on and off trail through a variety of terrains, is like no other. Experience the magic of local tropical birds waking up. Hike the forest and wetland as clouds lift off the trees into the growing light. View a variety of endemic species, or let your guide help you see and photograph specific species you’ve been dreaming of. Let the birdsong guide your steps, get an up-close view of hummingbirds from our hidden viewing area, or scan the trees from one of our carefully designed platforms. No matter what you choose, you’ll spend your morning in peaceful coexistence with some of Costa Rica’s most spectacular birds – no crowds, no phones, no distractions. Just nature at its best. Just the wilderness.

The tody motmot, Ornate Hawk Eagle, Yellow eared Toucanet, Lovely Cotinga, Bare necked Umbrellabird, Yellow-winged Tanager, Keel billed Motmot, Great curassow, Three wattled bellbird, Dull mantled ant birds, Lattive tailed trogon, Brown hooded parrot, White collared manikin, Rufous winged tanager, the snowcap and black crested coquete, the King Vulture
